Friday the 7th of March saw LiuGong hold a “Mini Exhibition” at the Blue Cattle Dog, St Claire. The event proved highly popular with special guests Wests Tigers players Bryce Gibbs, Dean Collis and Shannon McDonnell. LiuGong showcased a range of machines including the one and only Wests Tigers Wheel Loader as well as an Excavator and Compaction Roller.
Denis Robson, Managing Director of LiuGong Australia said “It was a great event…. kids where lining up in there Wests Tigers footy jumpers just to say hello to the players and have a throw in the pass the ball competion”. Denis went on to say “the players where great ambassadors signing autographs and giving away prizes to lucky kids. It was surprising to see the amount of Wests Tigers fans in the middle of Penrith Panthers territory. It just goes to show how big the Wests Tigers fan base really is”.
The day brought some great interest from the heartland of earthmoving contractors living in and around Penrith. The pub was packed and LiuGong received great exposure from the event which is largely due to good planning by the publican and management of the Blue Cattle Dog hotel, excellent support from Wests Tigers management and of course a wonderful friendly and cooperative attitude from the three players involved.
